About EMA
Empire Music Academy was founded by Steinway Artist Rixiang Huang in 2020. Students of EMA have received over 1000 prizes and awards, performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, USC Newman Recital Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and at Renée Segerstrom Concert Hall, for more than 100 occasions. Our school focuses on Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute, Trumpet, Guitar, and Voice.
Notable International Competition Recognition includes Grand Prize winners of Los Angeles Liszt International Piano Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, SYMF, Satori, International New Star Piano Competition, Bay Area Piano Competition, American Protégé, American Fine Arts Festival(AFAF), Aegio International Piano Competition, WPTA International Piano Competition, and many other MTAC Branch Competitions.
EMA’s faculty team is comprised of outstanding musicians trained in many prestigious universities and conservatories. They hold graduate degrees and doctoral degress from institutions such as Juilliard, Yale, Curtis, Colburn, USC, New England Conservatory, to name a few. Our goal is to provide the most professional and best musical education in the country for beginning to advanced students.
Our Mission
Empire Music Academy has helped children achieve success worldwide. EMA is devoted to providing the highest level, most comprehensive, best-teaching method, and inspirational music education to individuals of all ages interested in studying music. Students get opportunities to perform for and work with world-class artists. We guide the student in how to play their instrument at the highest of levels, also to learn how to love and appreciate music and art in order to become a professional musician and a well-rounded artist.
